About the Pastor

 

Pastor John was born in North Carolina.  His father became a minister when John was seven years old.  At age 14 he moved with his parents to Costa Rica as missionaries.  He attended World Evangelism Bible College for one year.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish from East Carolina University, a Master’s degree from Jacksonville Theological Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida and a Master’s of Divinity with Christian Counseling from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina.  He has felt the call to the ministry since 1987 and desired to plant a church in New Hampshire since 2000 while in seminary.  He is married to Shelly and they have a beautiful daughter, Celia Creed. 

Shelly serves the Kingdom as the church administrator and a wonderful wife and mother.  She has a Batchelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Communications from Ohio University.  She was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio, and has longed for years to be near the ocean.  Moving to the Seacoast Region was both an opportunity for her to serve the Kingdom of God and fulfill a life-long dream of living near the ocean.
